ASME FAQs

Our members are mainly business owners and senior management staff of local small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
As a member, you will enjoy preferential rates in attending events and activities organised by ASME. Besides providing the platform for business networking, we provide members with opportunities to grow their business in both the local and overseas markets through our business missions and trade fairs. We also equip members with the necessary skills and knowledge to grow their enterprise in areas like business advisory, training, branding, enterprise development, productivity enhancement, risk management, etc. For more benefits, please click here.
ASME offers three types of membership – Corporate, Individual and Associate. Click for membership benefits and membership criteria & fees.  
Corporate Membership will accord membership privileges to a maximum of three representatives of the company. Individual Membership will accord membership privileges only to the applicant. Associate Membership will accord membership privileges to any registered corporation, association, society, statutory board, institution, firm, body or business organisation that do not match the criteria for Corporate Membership.

The membership application can be submitted through an online or PDF application. Should you wish to submit your application online, kindly click here to access the online application form. Alternatively, you can download the membership application form here. Upon completing the application form, you can fax it to 6513 0378 or email to members@asme.org.sg.
Upon receiving the completed membership application form and supporting documents, you will be informed on the status of your application within 7 working days.
The membership is valid for one year from the month of which the membership is approved or renewed.
The membership fees shall be paid annually. Members will receive a membership renewal notification one month before the expiry of their membership.
Payment can be made by cheque payable to ASME. Please inform us in writing with 30 days of advanced notice. You are strongly advised to inform us on the first day of the month in order to apply for the following month. To proceed, please send us an email to members@asme.org.sg to indicate your request. Upon commencement of your membership, you will receive a welcome letter.
You can log in to the Members’ Portal to edit and update your personal particulars. Alternatively, you may email your details to members@asme.org.sg.
